Bordeaux Superior Red 2011
Surface area: 30 Ha
Production: 200 000 bottles
Soil: Clay-chalk and boulbène-type soil
Grape varieties: 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc
Average age of vineyard: 25 years
Harvest: Upon maturity in accordance with grape type
Vinification: 4 weeks’ vat fermentation at 26°, then matured in a vat for a year.
Tasting notes – Food and wine pairing
Lovely deep cerise colour, fruity on the nose with some strawberry and raspberry notes. Powerful at the outset, luxuriant with a good balance, light woody note in the middle of the mouth. Firm at the end with a tannic feel that gives the wine longevity and a long finale. Enjoy with red meat, poultry and cheese.
Bordeaux Superior Red
Special Reserve 2011
Surface area: 10 Ha
Production: 70 000 bottles
Soil: Clay-chalk
Grape varieties: 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc
Average age of vineyard: 30 years
Harvest: Upon maturity in accordance with grape type
Vinification: 4 weeks’ vat fermentation at 26° then aged in barrels for a year with decanting every 3 months.
Tasting notes – Food and wine pairing
Lovely deep colour, notes of coffee and black cherry, powerful, structured, expressive, luxuriant and melting, notes of woodiness and red fruits for the finale. Lots of expression and elegance, long and powerful during the finale whilst also being supple and silky. Enjoy with game and cheeses with character.
Bordeaux Rosé 2013
Surface area: 3 Ha
Production: 20 000 bottles
Soil: Clay-chalk
Grape varieties: 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Franc
Average age of vineyard: 20 years
Harvest: Upon maturity in accordance with grape type
Vinification: Heat-regulated alcoholic fermentation at 17° followed by ageing on lees for 1 month.
Tasting notes – Food and wine pairing
Lovely very pale pink colour, fruity with notes of grapefruit and a little floral with some hints of jasmine. Fresh and lively in the mouth, very refreshing with long persistence for the finale. A pleasurable wine to accompany spicy dishes, grilled food or to simply to be drunk as an aperitif.
Bordeaux White 2013
Surface area: 3.5 Ha
Production: 27 000 bottles
Soil: Deep clay
Grape varieties: 50% Sauvignon, 50% Sémillon
Average age of vineyard: 25 years
Harvest: Upon maturity in accordance with grape type
Vinification: skin maceration, depending on the year. Alcoholic fermentation to 17° and then aged on fine lees for one month.
Tasting notes – Food and wine pairing
Lovely colour with beautiful pale green highlights. In the mouth, the vivaciousness of the aromas work in partnership with a round, supple substance. Aromas of dried fruits with hints of honey. The finale is persistent and fresh. Lively, fresh and long for the finale. Can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or paired with a fish with sauce or white meat.
Entre-Deux-Mers 2013
Surface area: 3.5 Ha
Production: 27 000 bottles
Soil: Deep clay
Grape varieties: 50% Sauvignon, 50% Sémillon
Average age of vineyard: 20 years
Harvest: Upon maturity in accordance with grape type
Vinification: Direct pressing, alcoholic fermentation to 17° then aged on fine lees for one month.
Tasting notes – Food and wine pairing
Very fruity, intense and expressive, structured and lively, very aromatic in the mouth with an explosion of exotic perfumes, pineapple. Lively, fresh and long for the finale. To be enjoyed with shellfish, fish or goat’s cheese.
